Job Overview

As an AI Ethics Consultant, you will design and implement ethical guidelines for AI systems in Mozambique’s public and private sectors. This role bridges cutting-edge technology with cultural and legal frameworks to ensure responsible innovation. The position is based in Niassa, a hub for emerging tech initiatives in northern Mozambique.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop AI ethics policies aligned with Mozambican laws and international standards.
  • Conduct audits of AI systems for bias, transparency, and accountability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate ethical considerations into AI projects.
  • Provide training on ethical AI practices for technical and non-technical teams.
  • Monitor global AI ethics trends and adapt frameworks to local contexts.

Required Skills

  • Proven expertise in AI ethics, data privacy, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of Mozambican legal and cultural landscapes.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for algorithmic auditing.

Education

Salary
