Job Overview

We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Hospitality Operations Director to oversee all aspects of our premium resort operations in Pemba. Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all departmental operations including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Maintenance.
  • Develop and implement strategic operational plans to maximize revenue and optimize cost control.
  • Ensure strict adherence to international health, safety, and hygiene standards across all facilities.
  • Lead and mentor department heads to foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement corrective actions to maintain elite service ratings.
  • Manage large-scale budgets and provide regular financial performance reports to the regional board.

Required Skills

  • Advanced leadership and organizational management capabilities.
  • Expertise in revenue management and P&L oversight.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English and Portuguese.

  • Deep knowledge of luxury hospitality software and property management systems.

Education

A Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management, International Business, or a related field is required. A Bachelor’s degree with significant executive experience may be considered in exceptional cases.

Experience

A minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hotel operations is essential. Proven track record of managing large-scale teams and multi-million dollar budgets is mandatory for this role.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 85,000 SSP to 120,000 SSP, depending on experience and performance metrics.
