Job Overview

This role is part of SNV’s commitment to advancing water security in northern Mozambique. The Water Resource Management Specialist will lead projects to improve freshwater availability, sanitation infrastructure, and climate resilience in Pemba and surrounding regions. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement water resource management strategies for rural communities
  • Conduct hydrological assessments and feasibility studies for new water projects
  • Collaborate with local governments and NGOs to secure funding and partnerships
  • Monitor water quality and sanitation systems to ensure compliance with health standards
  • Train community stakeholders in sustainable water usage and maintenance practices

Required Skills
