Job Overview

Lead multidisciplinary teams to design and implement climate resilience projects in Mozambique’s vulnerable coastal regions. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute climate resilience strategies for coastal communities in Nacala
  • Coordinate with local governments, NGOs, and international donors to secure project funding
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and climate risk modeling
  • Supervise field teams during implementation of mangrove restoration and flood mitigation projects
  • Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in climate adaptation project management
  • Strong understanding of Mozambique’s environmental policy framework
  • Proficiency in GIS mapping and climate data analysis tools
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication skills
  • Ability to work in remote field locations

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geography, or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred

Experience

Salary
