Job Overview

This role involves conducting comprehensive environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for infrastructure and development projects in Mozambique. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead EIA studies for proposed projects including baseline data collection and impact prediction
  • Prepare technical reports compliant with Mozambican environmental regulations and international standards
  • Conduct stakeholder consultations and public hearings for project approval processes
  • Develop mitigation strategies for environmental risks and biodiversity conservation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on mining, energy, and infrastructure projects

Required Skills

  • Expertise in EIA methodology and ISO 14001 standards
  • Proficiency in GIS mapping and environmental data analysis
  • Strong understanding of Mozambican environmental legislation
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Bilingual (English/Portuguese) communication abilities

Education
