Job Overview
We are seeking an Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to join our team in Gorongosa, Mozambique. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments for various projects, including infrastructure development, mining, and energy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, a minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental impact assessment, and excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for various projects, including infrastructure development, mining, and energy
- Develop and implement environmental management plans for projects
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that environmental considerations are integrated into project planning and implementation
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies
- Conduct environmental monitoring and reporting
Required Skills
- Strong background in environmental science
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental impact assessment
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ArcGIS
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in environmental impact assessment, project management, and sustainability consulting
Salary
