Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Systems Designer to join our specialized engineering team in Cuera. This role is critical to our mission of designing complex, automated production lines that integrate seamlessly with existing industrial infrastructures. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design process, from initial conceptualization and logic programming to hardware selection and system integration. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex automation control architectures for large-scale manufacturing plants.
- Program and configure advanced PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems to optimize production workflows.
- Conduct detailed technical simulations to validate system performance before physical implementation.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of robotic arms and automated conveyors.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting and optimization of automated systems during the commissioning phase.
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, logic flowcharts, and user manuals.
- Ensure all designs comply with international safety and industrial standards for automated machinery.
Required Skills
- Expert proficiency in PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block).
- Advanced knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and EtherNet/IP.
- Strong capability in CAD software for electrical and control system schematic design.
- Deep understanding of sensor technology, motor drives, and motion control systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for complex system debugging.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple design iterations simultaneously.
Education
A Master’s Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field is mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate a strong academic background in control theory and digital logic systems.
Experience
A minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation design is required. Proven experience in commissioning large-scale automated production lines in a heavy manufacturing or processing environment is highly preferred. Candidates should have a track record of managing complex electrical control systems from design to deployment.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 85,000 SSP to 125,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s technical expertise and previous experience in the field.
