Job Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and analytical E-commerce UX Designer to join our digital product team in Cuera. This role is critical to our mission of providing a frictionless shopping experience for our users. You will be responsible for designing intuitive interfaces that guide users from product discovery to final checkout. This position requires a deep understanding of user behavior, mobile-first design principles, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into elegant, functional user journeys. The ideal candidate will work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing specialists to ensure that every touchpoint on our platform is optimized for conversion and user satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to identify pain points in the current customer journey.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure design feasibility and implementation accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Analyze user interaction data to iterate on designs and improve conversion rates.
  • Participate in design sprints and brainstorming sessions to generate innovative UI/UX solutions.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile app interaction patterns.
  • Ability to create compelling visual hierarchies and typography systems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret user data and behavioral metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills to present design concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS principles to facilitate smooth handovers to developers.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field is required. A portfolio demonstrating real-world application of UX principles is essential for this role.

Experience

Candidates must possess 3 to 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably within an e-commerce or high-traffic digital product environment. Proven experience in designing for mobile-first users is highly desirable. View similar roles in the region.
