Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Systems Designer to join our specialized engineering team in Mopeia. Key Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive automation control architectures, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
- Develop detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for industrial control panels.
- Select appropriate sensors, actuators, and industrial communication protocols for specific client needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate automation software with mechanical hardware.
- Conduct rigorous simulation and testing of designed systems to ensure compliance with international safety standards.
- Provide technical support during the commissioning phase of new automation installations.
- Optimize existing industrial processes through advanced control logic and data-driven insights.
Required Skills
- Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, or ABB platforms).
- Proficiency in CAD software for electrical and control system design.
- Deep understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and EtherNet/IP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for complex system troubleshooting.
- Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team environment.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a closely related technical field is mandatory. Advanced certifications in industrial automation or specialized software are highly desirable.
Experience
Candidates must possess between 5 to 7 years of direct experience in industrial automation design or systems integration. Proven experience working within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment is essential. A track record of successfully delivering complex automation projects from the design phase through to commissioning is required. Salary
