Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hydraulic Systems Design Engineer to join our specialized engineering team in Mocuba. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex hydraulic systems for heavy construction and mining machinery using advanced CAD software.
- Perform detailed hydraulic circuit simulations and performance modeling to optimize system efficiency and response times.
- Select appropriate hydraulic components, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and motors, based on rigorous technical specifications.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are optimized for production and ease of maintenance.
- Conduct field testing and laboratory validation of hydraulic prototypes to verify performance against design targets.
- Analyze failure modes and implement design improvements to enhance system reliability and longevity.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, schematics, and testing reports.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and hydraulic simulation software (e.g., AMESim, MATLAB/Simulink).
- In-depth knowledge of fluid power principles, including pressure, flow, and thermal dynamics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems.
- Excellent technical communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Education
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related engineering discipline is mandatory. A Master’s degree with a specialization in Fluid Power or Hydraulic Systems is highly preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in the design and development of hydraulic systems, preferably within the heavy machinery, automotive, or aerospace industries. Salary
