Job Overview
British Council Mozambique is seeking a dynamic Digital Education Program Coordinator to lead initiatives in Pemba. This role involves designing and implementing digital learning solutions for underserved communities. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage digital education programs tailored to local needs
- Collaborate with schools and community organizations to integrate technology into curricula
- Train educators on digital tools and e-learning platforms
- Monitor program impact and report on outcomes to stakeholders
- Secure partnerships with tech providers for resource allocation
Required Skills
- Proven experience in education technology project management
- Strong understanding of digital learning platforms (e.g., Moodle, Google Classroom)
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to analyze educational data and adapt programs accordingly
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Digital Media, or related field
- Master’s degree preferred but not required
Experience
- 3-5 years in education technology or program coordination
- Experience working in Mozambique or other African contexts is an advantage
Salary
2,500,000 – 3,500,000 MZN per month, commensurate with experience.
