Job Overview
The Digital Forensics Analyst will investigate cyber incidents, analyze digital evidence, and support legal and regulatory compliance efforts. This role is critical for protecting client data integrity and ensuring robust cybersecurity frameworks in Mozambique’s evolving digital landscape. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct digital forensic investigations into cyberattacks, data breaches, and fraud cases
- Analyze digital evidence from computers, networks, and mobile devices
- Prepare detailed reports and expert testimony for legal proceedings
- Collaborate with legal teams and law enforcement on cybersecurity matters
- Develop and implement incident response plans for clients
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and forensic tools
Required Skills
- Certified Forensic Examiner (EnCE, CFE, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in digital forensic software (e.g., EnCase, FTK)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Knowledge of Mozambican cybersecurity regulations
- Experience with network intrusion analysis
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Master’s Degree preferred but not required
Experience
- 3-5 years in digital forensics, cybersecurity, or law enforcement
- Proven track record in handling complex cybercrime cases
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP/month, commensurate with experience and certifications.
