Job Overview
The Hospitality Food and Beverage Director will be a pivotal leadership role within our Mueda operations. This position is responsible for overseeing all culinary and service-related aspects of the hotel, ensuring that our dining outlets, banqueting services, and room service meet the highest international standards. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for all food and beverage outlets to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee the entire culinary operation, ensuring consistency in food quality, presentation, and nutritional standards.
- Manage departmental budgets, including labor costs, food costs, and beverage inventory, to ensure optimal financial performance.
- Lead, mentor, and train a large team of culinary and service professionals to uphold Accor’s service excellence.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create seasonal menus and promotional dining events.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local and international food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement corrective actions to ensure a premium dining experience.
Required Skills
- Advanced leadership and team management capabilities in a high-volume hospitality setting.
- Deep understanding of culinary trends, mixology, and international cuisine styles.
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and cost control techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse guests and staff.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field is mandatory. Advanced certifications in Culinary Arts or Food & Beverage Management are highly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a continuous commitment to learning and professional development.
Experience
Applicants must possess a minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within a luxury hotel or high-end resort. Proven track record of managing large teams and achieving significant revenue growth is essential. Experience in the African hospitality market is a distinct advantage.
Salary
