Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Specialist to join our growing team in Angoche. This role is critical to our digital transformation strategy, as you will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of our HR software ecosystem. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between the Human Resources department and the IT department, ensuring that our people data is accurate, secure, and actionable. The HRIS Specialist will lead the implementation of new modules, manage system updates, and provide high-level support to all users within the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the integrity of the HRIS database, ensuring all employee records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Lead the implementation and configuration of new HR software modules and system enhancements.
- Provide technical support and training to HR staff and employees regarding system usage and troubleshooting.
- Develop and execute complex data queries and reports to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
- Collaborate with the IT department to ensure system security, data privacy, and seamless integration with other enterprise systems.
- Audit HR data regularly to ensure compliance with local labor laws and international data protection standards.
- Analyze workforce metrics to identify trends and provide actionable insights to the People Operations team.
- Streamline HR processes through automation to reduce manual errors and improve administrative efficiency.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in HRIS platforms (such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or Oracle HCM).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into business insights.
- Deep understanding of HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and performance management.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to technical troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and security.
- Project management skills to lead system implementations and upgrades effectively.

Education
Candidates must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources Management, or a closely related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in HRIS or Data Analytics will be considered a significant advantage.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with enterprise-level HRIS platforms is required. Proven experience in managing large-scale system implementations, data migration projects, or digital transformation initiatives within a corporate environment is highly desirable. Experience working in a multinational corporation or a technology-driven industry is preferred.
Salary
