Job Overview

We are seeking a highly specialized Senior Hydrometallurgical Process Engineer to lead our advanced mineral processing initiatives in Gurué. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize hydrometallurgical processes including leaching, purification, and precipitation.
• Conduct detailed mass and energy balance calculations to maximize metal recovery rates.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex chemical processing issues within the plant.
• Oversee the management of reagent consumption and optimize chemical dosing protocols.
• Collaborate with the environmental team to ensure all liquid and solid waste streams meet regulatory standards.
• Manage large-scale pilot plant testing and scale-up operations for new ore bodies.
• Monitor real-time process data to identify deviations and implement corrective actions immediately.

Experience

A minimum of 7 to 10 years of direct experience in hydrometallurgical plant operations or design is required. Salary
