Job Overview
The Senior Robotics Automation Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex robotic systems for our manufacturing clients. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex robotic automation systems and integrated manufacturing cells.
- Lead the programming and commissioning of industrial robots and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and optimization of existing robotic production lines.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate machine vision and AI algorithms into robotic workflows.
- Conduct rigorous safety assessments and ensure compliance with international robotics standards.
- Manage technical documentation, including system architecture and operational manuals.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership during large-scale installations.
Required Skills
- Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, or ABB) and industrial robot languages.
- Advanced knowledge of motion control systems and sensor fusion technologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical and electrical system design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex system integration.
- Excellent project management capabilities and ability to lead technical teams.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Portuguese is highly advantageous.
Education
A Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field is mandatory. A PhD in a specialized automation field is considered a significant advantage for this senior-level position.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in industrial automation, with at least 4 years specifically focused on robotics and complex system integration. Proven experience in large-scale manufacturing environments is essential. You should have a track record of successfully delivering high-value automation projects from conception to commissioning.
Salary
The annual salary for this position ranges from 850,000 SSP to 1,200,000 SSP, depending on experience, technical expertise, and performance during the interview process.
