Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecommunications Network Engineer to join our specialized technical team in Pemba. Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize end-to-end telecommunications network architectures to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
• Lead complex troubleshooting efforts for high-level network outages and performance degradation issues.
• Implement and manage software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new hardware and software into existing network frameworks.
• Conduct regular network audits and performance analysis to identify areas for capacity expansion.
• Ensure all network operations comply with international telecommunications standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Provide high-level technical support and mentorship to junior network engineers and field technicians.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in LTE, 5G NR, and IP networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
• Expertise in using network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark and various OSS platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving complex connectivity issues.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field is mandatory. Advanced certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are highly preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications network engineering, specifically within a mobile operator or large-scale service provider environment. Salary
