Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Develop long-term financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor financial performance against approved budgets.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
- Analyze revenue trends, profitability, and operational costs.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
Financial Reporting
- Ensure timely preparation of statutory and management accounts.

- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Review financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury functions.
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Strengthen financial governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and corporate policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Monitor risk management and fraud prevention initiatives.
- Oversee implementation of corrective audit recommendations.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor accountants, analysts, and finance officers.
- Conduct performance evaluations and development planning.
- Support professional training and succession planning initiatives.

Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Master’s Degree in Finance, MBA, or related discipline is advantageous.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
- At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, or large corporate environments preferred.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strong exposure to ERP systems and financial management software.
