Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex structural calculations and modeling to validate design integrity.
  • Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor the health of existing structures and identify potential defects.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive structural monitoring programs using advanced sensor technology.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to ensure construction aligns with structural specifications.
  • Analyze material fatigue and degradation caused by environmental stressors in the local climate.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and risk assessment documentation for project stakeholders.
  • Oversee non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures to evaluate structural components.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ANSYS, or ETABS).
  • In-depth knowledge of international building codes and structural standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities regarding complex engineering challenges.
  • Excellent technical writing skills for reporting and documentation.
  • Ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical engineering drawings.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Education

A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering is mandatory. A Master’s degree in a specialized structural engineering field is highly preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in structural engineering, specifically within large-scale infrastructure or industrial construction projects. Salary

The offered salary for this position ranges from 85,000 SSP to 125,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and technical qualifications.
