Job Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our regional operations in Angoche. This role is critical in ensuring that our products move efficiently from manufacturing sites to retail shelves across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and minimize logistics costs. This position requires a deep understanding of demand forecasting, procurement cycles, and distribution networks. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze historical sales data and market trends to create accurate demand forecasts.
  • Monitor inventory levels across multiple distribution centers to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Collaborate with procurement and manufacturing teams to align production schedules with market demand.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and propose data-driven solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to order fulfillment and transportation costs.
  • Work closely with third-party logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Utilize advanced ERP systems to manage large volumes of supply chain data.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical modeling capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and logistics management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with various international and local stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field is mandatory. A Master’s degree or professional certification such as APICS (CPIM/CSCP) is highly preferred.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of direct experience in supply chain analysis, demand planning, or logistics coordination within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. Proven experience working with large-scale ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) is essential for success in this role.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and performance during the interview process.
