Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement of renewable energy equipment (solar panels, wind turbines, batteries) from global suppliers.
  • Coordinate logistics for project materials, including transportation, customs clearance, and on-site delivery.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Optimize inventory management systems for renewable energy projects across Mozambique.
  • Conduct risk assessments for supply chain disruptions and implement mitigation strategies.

Required Skills

  • Proven expertise in energy sector procurement or logistics.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and project lifecycles.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software (SAP, Oracle) and project management tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities in high-pressure environments.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Energy Engineering, or related field.
  • Master’s degree or PMP certification preferred.

Experience

  • 3-5 years in energy procurement, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Experience in renewable energy projects in emerging markets.

Salary

1,500,000 – 2,500,000 MZN annually, commensurate with experience.
