- Develop and implement control strategies for inverter-based renewable energy resources.
- Collaborate with utility providers to ensure seamless integration of new power plants into the national grid.
- Lead the technical design and specification of substation equipment and grid-tie interfaces.
- Monitor real-time grid performance and troubleshoot integration issues during commissioning phases.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with international IEC standards and local Mozambican regulations.
- Provide technical leadership during the construction and testing phases of renewable energy installations.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in power system simulation software such as PSS/E, DigSILENT PowerFactory, or ETAP.
- Deep knowledge of synchronous machine theory and power electronic converter control.
- Strong understanding of grid codes and regulatory compliance for renewable energy integration.
- Exceptional analytical and mathematical modeling capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and government officials.
- Project management skills with the ability to handle complex technical documentation.
