Job Overview
The Hospitality Guest Relations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the guest experience from arrival to departure. This role is critical in ensuring that every guest receives personalized, high-quality service that aligns with Marriott’s global standards. You will lead a team of guest service associates, managing complex guest inquiries, resolving issues with grace, and implementing strategies to increase guest loyalty and satisfaction scores. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Guest Relations team to deliver world-class service standards.
- Manage VIP arrivals and ensure all personalized preferences are met prior to guest arrival.
- Act as the primary point of contact for guest feedback, resolving complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Analyze guest satisfaction data and implement service recovery protocols.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping and Food & Beverage departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Oversee the management of loyalty program enrollments and guest recognition initiatives.
- Monitor guest feedback on platforms like TripAdvisor and internal surveys to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese.
- Advanced problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera.
- Deep understanding of luxury hospitality service standards and etiquette.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field is required. Professional certifications in luxury service management are highly desirable.
Experience
Candidates must possess at least 5 years of experience in a high-end hotel environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity. Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on experience and performance metrics.
