Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits to assess compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, Mozambique’s Data Protection Law).
- Develop and implement privacy policies, procedures, and training programs for clients.
- Collaborate with legal teams to resolve data breach incidents and manage regulatory inquiries.
- Provide strategic guidance on data encryption, access controls, and secure data handling practices.
- Monitor global privacy trends and advise clients on proactive risk mitigation strategies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data privacy compliance and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Strong understanding of legal and technical aspects of data protection.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Law, or related field. Advanced certifications such as CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) are highly advantageous.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or cybersecurity roles, preferably in a consulting or corporate environment.
Salary
250,000 – 350,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
