Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits to assess compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, Mozambique’s Data Protection Law).
  • Develop and implement privacy policies, procedures, and training programs for clients.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to resolve data breach incidents and manage regulatory inquiries.
  • Provide strategic guidance on data encryption, access controls, and secure data handling practices.
  • Monitor global privacy trends and advise clients on proactive risk mitigation strategies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in data privacy compliance and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of legal and technical aspects of data protection.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Law, or related field. Advanced certifications such as CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) are highly advantageous.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or cybersecurity roles, preferably in a consulting or corporate environment.

Salary

250,000 – 350,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
