Job Overview
The Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer will play a critical role in our technical operations hub in Beira. This position is responsible for overseeing complex maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities on a variety of aircraft models. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring that every task is performed in strict accordance with international aviation regulations and company safety protocols. This is a high-responsibility role that requires a deep understanding of avionics, airframe structures, and propulsion systems. Key Responsibilities

- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with EASA, FAA, and local civil aviation authority regulations.
- Develop and optimize maintenance schedules to maximize aircraft uptime and operational efficiency.
- Manage technical documentation, including logbooks, service bulletins, and compliance reports.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior maintenance technicians and engineers.
- Coordinate with the supply chain department to ensure the availability of critical spare parts and specialized tooling.
- Conduct root cause analysis for technical failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Oversee the implementation of new maintenance technologies and digital diagnostic tools.
Required Skills
- Expertise in airframe, engine, and avionics system diagnostics and repair.
- In-depth knowledge of international aviation safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Education
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related technical field from a recognized institution. Experience
A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory capacity. Proven experience working with commercial or executive jet aircraft is essential.
