Job Overview

The Senior Logistics Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing complex freight movements and ensuring high-level service delivery for our diverse client base. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor international shipments via air, sea, and road to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage complex documentation including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and Certificates of Origin.
  • Liaise with customs officials and freight forwarders to ensure seamless border crossings.
  • Optimize logistics workflows to reduce operational costs and improve transit efficiency.
  • Resolve shipment discrepancies, delays, or damages through proactive communication with stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of all shipments and provide detailed reporting to management.
  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with international maritime and aviation safety standards.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Logistics Management Systems (LMS) and ERP software.
  • In-depth knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and international trade regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills for route optimization and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Portuguese.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certifications such as CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) are highly preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in international freight forwarding or complex logistics coordination. Salary
