Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and credit risk assessment for corporate loan applicants.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit proposals, including risk ratings, loan structures, covenants, and repayment schedules.
  • Collaborate with relationship managers to identify client financing needs and develop appropriate lending solutions.
  • Monitor existing loan portfolios, conduct periodic reviews, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and anti‑money‑laundering standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the bank’s credit system and contribute to the continuous improvement of credit processes.
  • Support senior management in strategic decision‑making by providing market insights and industry trend analyses.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Portuguese proficiency is highly advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of corporate banking products, credit risk frameworks, and regulatory environments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team in a fast‑paced setting.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with banking software, MS Office Suite, especially Excel.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Candidates with a Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or FRM will be given preference.

Experience

Applicants must have at least five years of experience in corporate lending, credit analysis, or related financial services roles, preferably within an international banking environment. Experience in emerging markets, particularly in Africa, is considered a strong asset.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from SSP 250,000 to SSP 350,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives are also part of the total rewards structure.
