Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative risk assessments for credit, market, and operational exposures.
- Develop and maintain risk models, including Value at Risk (VaR) and credit scoring systems.
- Perform regular stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate potential impacts on the bank’s portfolio.
- Prepare detailed risk reports and dashboards for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with the Credit Department to review loan proposals and assess associated risks.
- Monitor compliance with Basel III and local banking regulations, ensuring timely remediation of identified gaps.
- Assist in the development of risk mitigation policies and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to junior analysts on risk assessment techniques.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SAS).
- Excellent knowledge of financial products, banking operations, and risk management frameworks.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting reports to stakeholders.

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as Basel III, IFRS 9, and local banking laws.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or CFA are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Applicants should have 3‑5 years of relevant experience in risk analysis, credit risk assessment, or a similar role within a banking or financial services environment. Experience with risk modeling tools and exposure to regulatory reporting is essential.
Salary
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from SSP 250,000 to SSP 400,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based bonuses may be awarded based on individual and departmental achievements.
