Job Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and creative E-commerce Marketing Strategist to join our growing team in Mopeia. This role is critical to our mission of expanding digital retail capabilities within the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value across our digital platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement multi-channel digital marketing campaigns to increase platform traffic and conversion rates.
- Analyze consumer data to identify market trends and optimize customer acquisition costs (CAC).
- Collaborate with the product team to improve user experience (UX) based on marketing insights.
- Manage marketing budgets and provide detailed ROI reports to senior leadership.
- Coordinate with local logistics providers to ensure marketing promises align with delivery capabilities.
- Monitor competitor activities and market shifts within the Mozambican e-commerce sector.
- Optimize search engine visibility and social media presence to drive organic growth.
Required Skills
- Expertise in digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.).
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, or similar).
- Strong understanding of SEO and SEM principles.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in both Portuguese and English.
- Ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Education
A Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field is required. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and significant specialized experience in digital commerce will also be considered.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, specifically within the e-commerce or technology sector, is essential. Proven track record of managing large-scale digital campaigns and delivering measurable growth is highly preferred. Experience working in emerging markets is a significant advantage.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 75,000 SSP, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a competitive package designed to attract top-tier talent in the region.
