Job Overview

Strabag Mozambique is seeking a dynamic Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of critical infrastructure projects in Tete. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management for infrastructure developments including roads, bridges, and industrial facilities.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, and local communities to ensure compliance with regulations and community engagement standards.
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans to meet strategic objectives.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Prepare detailed progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience managing infrastructure projects in developing economies.
  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • li>Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).

  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Master’s Degree or PMP certification preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive project management experience in construction or infrastructure sectors.
  • Previous work in Mozambique or neighboring countries is a significant advantage.

Salary

2,500,000 – 4,000,000 MZN per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
