Job Overview
This role is part of a strategic initiative to deploy next-generation smart grid technologies across Morrumbene, Mozambique. The Smart Grid Technology Specialist will design, implement, and optimize intelligent energy systems that integrate renewable sources with traditional power grids. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about sustainable energy innovation and infrastructure development in emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy smart grid solutions tailored to regional energy demands
- Integrate renewable energy sources (solar, wind) into existing power networks
- Conduct system diagnostics and performance optimization for grid stability
- Collaborate with local utilities to ensure compliance with national energy standards
- Provide technical training to local teams on smart grid operations
Required Skills
- Expertise in smart grid architecture and IoT-enabled energy systems
- Proficiency in SCADA and grid automation software

- Fluency in Portuguese and English
Education
