Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Specialist to join our team in Beira, Mozambique. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to agricultural development projects in Mozambique. Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support to agricultural development projects in Mozambique
• Conduct field visits to assess project progress and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and monitoring and evaluation frameworks
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including government officials, farmers, and civil society organizations
• Prepare reports and other documents to support project implementation and evaluation

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agricultural engineering, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in agricultural development, preferably in Mozambique or a similar context
• Strong technical knowledge of agricultural practices and technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team and build effective relationships with stakeholders

Education

Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agricultural engineering, or a related field.

Experience

2-5 years of experience in agricultural development, preferably in Mozambique or a similar context.

Salary

The salary range for this position is 50,000 – 80,000 MZN per month.
